8. Our Mobile Application

The Ranisy Logistics mobile app is available to our clients and employees and requires an account issued by us in order to sign in. In addition to the information described above, the app may access the following on your device. Each of these is optional, is requested only when you first use the related feature, and can be withdrawn at any time in your device settings.

Location

With your permission, we access your device location when you record attendance, so that a check-in can be associated with a work site. Location is collected only at the moment you perform that action — we do not track your location in the background or when the app is closed.

Camera and Photos

With your permission, we access your camera and photo library so that you can attach documents and images to shipments, requests, and your profile. We access only the items you choose to attach.

Notifications

If you enable notifications, we store a device notification token so we can alert you to updates affecting your shipments, requests, approvals, and announcements. The token identifies your device installation, not you personally, and is deleted when you sign out or uninstall the app.

Biometric Sign-In

If you choose to enable fingerprint or face sign-in, verification is performed entirely by your device operating system. Your biometric data is never transmitted to us and we neither receive nor store it — the app is only told whether verification succeeded.

Analytics and Device Identifiers

We use Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to understand how the app is used and to diagnose crashes. This processes technical data such as device model, operating system version, app version, language, approximate region, and an advertising identifier provided by the operating system.

We do not display advertising in the app and we do not use this identifier for advertising or to build advertising profiles. It is collected because it is included by default in the analytics software we use. Diagnostic and usage data is processed in aggregate and is not used to identify you individually.

Data You Enter in the App

Depending on whether you sign in as a client or an employee, the app displays and stores information you and your organisation provide, including shipment and customs clearance records, invoices and financial statements, requests and enquiries, and — for employees — attendance records, payslips, leave requests, approvals, assigned tasks, and custody records. This information is handled under the same purposes, sharing rules, security measures, and retention periods set out in this policy.

Deleting Your App Data

You can request deletion of your account and associated app data by contacting us using the details below. Some records must be retained where customs, tax, or employment law requires it.

9. International Transfers

As a global logistics company, we may transfer your information to countries outside your home country. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data during such transfers.

10. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
